Who is the legal owner?

The legal owner of the vehicle is the employee i.e. you; this question may appear slightly differently depending on which provider you chose. Acceptable answers to this question also include policyholder.

What do I do next?

In order to validate your insurance, we ask that you send written confirmation that your insurance provider is aware of the above points. This can be sent via email or fax to the contact details below.

Please ATTACH insurance documentation TO YOUR EMAIL clearly stating that your insurance provider is aware that Car Benefit Car Schemes Limited is the Registered Keeper of vehicle and that the employee named on the Credit Sale Agreement is the Legal Owner of the vehicle.

Please note: If the scheme vehicle is NOT primarily for the use of the employee (e.g. a vehicle for a spouse/parent/partner) then ONLY the Insurance Policy is to be in the main driver’s name. The Registered Keeper and Legal Owner would remain the same as stated above.
